Frequently Asked Questions
If we enrolled an employee and then they were either terminated or resigned, do we just stop paying the rate for that employee immediately, or are we obligated to pay for 12 months?
There is no obligation, let us know they are terminated / resigned, and they will be removed.
Is there a COBRA type side to this where they can choose to continue to self-pay premiums to you after they have left the company?
We contact the patient directly and ask if they would like to stay on. We then transfer payment to their credit card.
With some fringe Benefits, there is a “group” obligation for the company to pay for a certain number of months, even if the former employee is no longer with us.
There is no long-term obligation, 30 days’ notice to cancel.
